Depending on type of survey the following may be included:

The reporting style may be narrative or formatted, with detailed discussions on current conditions found and any recommended upgrades, repairs or systems that may be required to be to meet federal codes and requirements.
A summary of recommendations is provided at the end of the report and
is broken down into sections for ease
of determining required actions, recommended upgrades or practices,
and suggested actions
The Survey Report will also provide the qualified marine service yard you choose with a listing of any mechanical,
structural, electronic or major cosmetic items that may need attention
